Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of Roseville Christian Church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Roseville Christian Church members are involved in a variety of ministries and committees ranging from cooking, leading worship, aiding people in need, and serving those around the world.

Benevolence Ministry

Jesus calls us to care for orphans, widows, and those in need. This ministry sees that these needs are met to the best of our abilities. They recommend the allocation of funds, provide services and occasional donations of goods and time.

Building, Grounds, & Transportation Ministry

The Building and Grounds committee oversees any/all maintenance (including repairs, cleaning, and remodeling) of the church building and property for it to be an inviting, safe, and functional place of fellowship. They also maintain authority over any building or equipment usage.
Transportation: Transportation can sometimes be difficult for a variety of reasons. If you or someone you know would like to attend any church activity but is unable due to transportation, please contact the church office.

Christian Education Ministry

Members of the Christian Education committee hold the responsibility of coordinating and approving curriculum, literature, and teaching aids for educational programs such as Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.  They also provide specialized training classes as deemed necessary for teachers and volunteers. The church librarians are also appointed and approved by this committee.

Finance Ministry

The finance committee is responsible for the annual budget, coordinating stewardship programs, and administering special funds such as memorials and scholarships for school and various events.

Local Outreach & Family Life Ministry

Outreach to and fellowship with congregation members and people within our community is a vital part of growth as a church family. This committee focuses on the planning of activities and events to reach out to people of all ages. Some of these have included but are not limited to events such as bike rides, reunions, revivals, special distributions, game nights, movie nights, and many others. These events are for the purpose of fellowship with the church and evangelism.

Missions Ministry

Roseville Christian Church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries with our money and with our prayers. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community. The purpose of this committee is to maintain close contact with the missions we support and to keep the church board informed of their progress and developments as well as to carry out a continuous educational program concerning the broad scope of missions.

Worship

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments. Some are vocalists. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of Roseville Christian Church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.  The purpose of this committee is to arrange orders of service and schedule song leaders and accompanists. Worship committee also has the responsibility for the audio and visual components used in our services.
